Pornruedee Boonyapan, alias Cherry, was born in Bangkok in 1979. She studied Fine and Applied Arts there and participated in various group exhibitions. Cherry also worked as artistic assistant. In 2007 she came to Pforzheim, where she is attending the Vocational School for Jewellery, Design and Devices at the School for Goldsmiths and Watchmakers. She was the member of Spreeglanz between August 2010 and July 2011 and convinced the jury of her talent by presenting petal-like necklaces and bracelets made from recycled plastic pieces of tetra pak spouts.
