Kamila was born in Poland in 1978. She studied History of Art at Jagiellonen University and worked then as a curator and project manager . There followed an apprenticeship as goldsmith in Berlin, which she finished in 2009. Kamila has been with Spreeglanz since then until July 2011. In her first collection at Spreeglanz, Kamila is concerned with the perception of the moment. Its transitoriness, the yearning to hold it and the certainty that man can eternalize moments in his memory are motifs in her work. A piece of jewellery like the ring „my secret book“ materializes thoughts or emotions, which I can decide every day to carry with me or not. Kamilas necklace „Capsular“ initially plays with the motif of transitoriness, but the after the gelatine capsules have dissolved, a delicate silver chain surprisingly appears. „I would like to induce people to perceive the different processes that are taking place around us.“
