Lina, born in Sweden in 1979, took classes in History of Art and Painting before moving to England, where she studied Jewellery and Accessory Design at Kent Institute of Art and Design. Later on, she took a degree in Product Design with emphasis on Glass Design at Kalmar University. Lina exhibited several of her objects at the Milan and Stockholm Furniture Fair. The pieces of jewellery she has designed at Spreeglanz since March 2009 revolve around objects and materials of everyday life, so called objets trouvés. Tea bags and keys from the flea market, galvanoplastically fixed in silver and gold plated silver, do not betray their origin and cause a romantic, playful impression, preparing the way for Linas creations of deconstructed bicycle chains. Through the combination of pearls with avantgarde steel elements, the necklaces, bracelets and rings obtain a contemporary flair.
